A huge, modern white tower is located in the left hill of the road to Taejongdae Park.

It is the Monument dedicated to the Medical Assistance Units in The Korean War. It was completed on Sep. 20, 1976 to commemorate the dedication of foreign medical assistance units which took care of the U.N and Korean soldiers injured in the war.

The units were sent because of the UN resolution and Red Cross spirit.
