Hyeon In, a famous singer, was born at 1862, Yeongson-dong Yeongdo-gu and died on Apr. 13 2002.
A monument and a statue was built near the Yeongdo Grand Bridge, the setting of his hit song, "Don't lose courage, Geumsun' to memorialize his achievements.
The construction was completed on Nov. 28, 2003.

Song Monument
The image of a ship in a harbor, a music note, a flying bird and the crescent moon is encapsulated in the monument.
Statue
A statue of the singer sitting on a chair was built to allow people to enjoy the monument, and take pictures on the other chairs.
Audio Facilities and Landscaping, Lighting Facilities
A special audio device was installed to play the singer’s famous songs by putting one’s foot on the right foot of the statue.
